Maximum and Ideal tires (size) for 2005 Brute Force 750i 4x4

Over this past weekend, I slammed my RF rim so hard as to make it non-serviceable, requiring a replacement of the stock BF rim. Since I have fairly new MAXXIS All Trak tires, I'm thinking of going cheap and buying two new rims and rubber and placing them on the rear. If that's the case, seems everyo...

Interesting this subject should just come up, as my belt light (Brute 750i) came on a few hours back. Last night, and before taking it out for a ride today, I pulled the convertor cover, inspected the belt (looked almost like new, considering 3000 miles), removed tree debris (how'd that get in ther...

How did you come across these guys for testing your oil? What was the cost?

I have a Durango with 140k miles on it, and I've only used Mobile-1 synthetic and am curious to know how its holding up.

I have 3000 miles on my Brute and have yet to replace the belt. The check belt light comes on every 200-300 hours, but upon inspection, the belt is solid. Additionally, I sometimes use the Brute to pull my 1500 pound trailer back into my driveway (in reverse, up hill), and other than leaving a littl...

I've had two significant tire blow-outs since I first started riding ~5 years ago: On my Prarie 400, I hit something and blew a 2" hole in the center of the tire. Duct tape and tire sealant made it possible to at least limp back ~20miles to my truck. On my Brute Force, I ran over a FORK  which...

I'm going to guess that I've put at least 200 miles on them since purchase in May. Perhaps I'm naive, but for $90/each, I'd expect more mileage per tire.

Howdy Brute!! I too HAD a dream!! To ride Moab, BUT since I broke my quad, the webmaster will only let me ride his sons' 90 cc from now on!  Not sure I could do much crawlin on that! Thanks for all the welcomes. As far as Moab is concerned, it's a great location for 4wheeling, biking and...

Depending on the drum style (my ATV's have Warn 2.5's), it's either just curled up and pressed in or there's a retaining screw. If no screw, you can just uncoil the cable and using a punch or screwdriver, just press it out, watching for the little metal stud that's placed in and has the cable coiled...

I'm sure most of you know this one, but http://www.rockymountainatv.com . Probably one of the best online superstores for quads and motorcycles. I would agree, and they're only 1 hour away from me. Be warned that if you purchase tires in person (like I did), they charge a hefty premium to mount the...

Maxxis All Track

I recently replaced the stock Dunlops on my Brute Force 750 with the Maxxis All track. While a decent all terrain tire, they seem to have worn out awfully quick. I bought them new in May 2007 and now I'm already down at least half tread. Anybody else try these tires out? Maybe I just ride them too h...

Ah yes, the promised land. We're supposed to be out there for a week of riding/camping beginning Oct 6th, but the weather has me worried. It's snowing here right now (again) so you should be getting it tomorrow evening. :? Is it just me, or is trail 76 not a really pretty and fun alternative to rid...

Pauite 01 (Fremont Indian Museum)

We ride this trail at least 5x/year and enjoy it as though it were the first time EVERY TIME. On this last trip, we rode from Marysvale to the Fremont Indian Museum and back, for a total of around 70 miles in that day. In the picture are my wife and two sons. http://www.xmission.com/~jamesk/paiute01...

Greetings!

New member here. I've been ATV'ing for 5+ years. My first two ATV's were purchased used, as a set w/trailer (Kawasaki Prarie 400 4x4 and Honda Rancher 350 2x4). I've since added my third, a Kawasaki Brute Force 750! As indicated in my profile, I live in Utah, but ride throughout my State and Nevada....
