Thrasher, the weather here in WV is gradually cooling off. Today we had a high of 47 and a low of 24. I agree with quadgoddess in using the layering system. If it gets real cold you can always a nomex hood under your helmet and put tape over the holeson your full face helmet. The baclava the quadgod...

Has anyone done any modifications to the springs in their clutches? I know that a company called heel clicker(sp?) makes a nice clutch kit.

rope in place of cable

Has anyone seen the blue rope for use on winches that is supposed to be stronger than the steel cable? I have seen it on ebay a few times, I think it would have roll up on the spool alot better.
