Greetings!

New member here.

I've been ATV'ing for 5+ years. My first two ATV's were purchased used, as a set w/trailer (Kawasaki Prarie 400 4x4 and Honda Rancher 350 2x4). I've since added my third, a Kawasaki Brute Force 750!

As indicated in my profile, I live in Utah, but ride throughout my State and Nevada. Although I relocated to Monterey, CA for two years, I never got an opportunity to ride there.

As for me, I'm former US Army, now an IT/InfoSec CTO. When not working 7x 10 hour days, I try to ride, hike, cliff-climb, rappel and generally hurt myself as much as possible! :D

Welcome BF! I also ride a BF, but I have the 650 straight axle model. I see that you are from West Jordan Utah. I actually spent a day in West Jordan at the Dannon facility, small world huh? As I have bugged everybody else on this forum about, I want to ride Moab again in April or May of 08, just need some riders. Just planting the seed early. Vacation promoting aside, glad to have you on the board.
Take care,
Zack

Welcome Brute Force!

Like Zach has mentioned, I too look forward to doing some riding in your neck of the woods sometime in the Spring. After seeing the pictures from the groups trip this past April, I've been 'Jonesin' to get over that way!

Thanks for all the welcomes. As far as Moab is concerned, it's a great location for 4wheeling, biking and hiking, BUT if you really want to experience outstanding Utah ATV'ing, head to central Utah on the Paiute trail system, either in Marysvale, Richfield or Circleville.

Another excellent location that I've found for winter riding (when its cold and snowy in Utah) is Logandale, Nevada. It could be -10f and snowing @ home, but 80F and sunny in that locale! 8)

Don't forget Great Western Trail (the section from Torrey to the Gooseberry system is awesome):

or a side trip from GW to Powell Point:

or Paunsaugunt Plateau (Bryce Canyon area):
