Cabellas in Reno is scheduled to open on Friday. My other obsession, fishing (hence screen name FishaHallic NOT fishohalic like some have said)has been put on the back burner since my move to Reno, but NO more. When leaving Boca Springs this weekend I did a little looking around and ran into a guy flyfishing the Little Truckee River and he told me he caught 5 fish to 24" and that put the fire back in my fishing fever. On friday I'm going to Cabellas and dropping a couple of bucks on a new fly rod. I'M BACK BABY, I"M BACK.

I failed to see any enthusiasm in your post. You really need to be more fired up about it.

The store is actually open today, to Invited Guests and Cabela's Visa holders. All the really good deals and stuff will be long gone by Friday :P

I was there yesterday. Not a member but talked my way in. I think it is open to the public tomorrow. Regardless, it was a mob scene with long lines everywhere. It will hopefully settle down after this 2 day limited opening. Very nice facility.

Not surprised it was a mob scene.

In Nebraska...I walked right in....browsed the whole store....more employees than customers.
