A little snow was LAST week, now I'm sure it's a lot more snow! I've seen what happens on those snow rides - I want to keep my belt!

Nothing like the monumental treks to discover the ATV route to Oregon! Maybe he'll let us ride his property and cut down some trees this winter.

When I saw the subject line, I was thinking: "Oh no, somebody else had to sell their quads!".

Naw.... And I lied, I thought the season was done after that snow. We got nothing after that. Indeed, Grizzly Guy and I rode up 8,265' Peavine Peak near Reno a week or so ago. No snow up there, not a lick. But the weatherguessers say we're getting weather this week thru the weekend.

Has it been as snowless out your way?

Snowless...ain't that the truth.

Lori and I had our toys out Sunday.....not a freaking dollip of snow....but some ice sections...where water just froze on the road.. There was one spot on the dirt road before the dam....so I hit at around 20....and turned the wheel...and slid about 40 feet sideways.....a lot of laughing.

This has been the driest winter I can recall. We just got our first snowfall (6 inches in the mountains and about 1 in the valley). Still much riding to be done at higher elevations here. Supposedly, we're getting 2-6' of snow in the mountains today. We'll see...

Round 2 (Round 1 being in November) is supposed to start smacking us today. We shall see!
