Mounts for GPS / SPOT on Sportsman XP?

My 2013 Sportsman XP 850 has no real estate on the handlebar (AT ALL!). How are you Polaris riders mounting up locations for GPS and/or SPOT devices? I just ordered a RAM mount that appears to use the brake pivot bolt, but have no idea if it will really work.
