Basket is a BOT if you haven't figured it out. I've banned the account and changed the pw.

A bot is slang for a computer program that pretends to be a user.
In computer games, computer controlled AI are called Bots. The slang extends to any computer program that performs actions on its own under the guise of being a real user. I'm assuming in this case the "bot" was grabbing email addresses and spamming the hell out of them.

No...the Bot was the user BASKET456 or whatever. There were like 4 posts. They've actually gotten quite sophisticated.
I have a LOT more problems with them on the Racer X board (www.racerxband.com) that I manage.
At first...a few years ago...they would just sign up. But then I added Authentication (ie: a real email address). So, the Bot's would sign up, but they wouldn't authenticate. But they didn't care. The user would sign up...you'd see "Last User to Sign Up"...some people click it...or if you look in the MemberList...you'd see them...and they'd have a PORN site usually as an Email and their WWW link.
Well...about 5 months ago. Some programmer, figured out how to get the bot to authenticate and then grab random posts...Quote something and then reply. HOPING, that it would go un-noticed. The taglines lately, are all Gambling sites...not porn.
So now, when I get them...I have to ban the email domain. I've seen both sites...Racer X and ATV Obsession get hit by @M-S-N.NET domain. So I've blocked that domain...so nobody (or bot) with that domain can sign up. Then I change the password of the account, so the bot can't use it again.

yeah...if you read the post....for a sec, you'll think...wow...this person is talking like they've been here forever.
Then every so often it screws up...and quotes something like...WOW and says "That's interesting...can I IM you about that?"
And you're like...what? IM about WOW?
