Not kidding....look at the installed pic...there is still the foam ring showing. It is seated and cranked down, just is a little funny fitting at the top. I find it funny though that UNI sends the filter un oiled. It comes with a warning sticker that says make sure you oil it before installation. I would have liked to have known that before, so I could have got oil too. At least all my K&N filters before came ready to use

Keith as long as the filter is sitting down as far as it can on the bottom of the airbox it's all good. The early Suzuki filters were too short and there was number of reports of ruined motors due to dust getting by. That's why UNI makes them longer, it assures that the filter is sealed at the bottom where the dust gets by. I'm surprised Bryan to sell you an oil/cleaning kit, he made sure I got one when I ordered mine

One 2007 Suzuki BlingQuad
Couple of observations. The Front Stick Guards needed a little alteration on the mounting as I guess the 07 model is a little different, on trip to the hardware store and it was done.
I think the front tires will rub ever so slightly on the inner wheel well.
I pulled out the Tamarack box and will not be using it. With the wrap around configuration it completely blocks the gas filler!
Other than that, I need to find a good sticker guy to make me BlingQuad stix

And the gains...This is at 5 lbs of air in the tires.
Front Height - 13 vs 10.75
Rear Height - 12.5 vs 12.0 (I think the measurements are deceptive based on skid plate change and angle of camera
Center Height - 14.25 vs 13.75
Front Width - 49 vs 45.25
Rear Width - 51 vs 46.5
And a criminal picture....such a beautiful day and I am at home with the quad covered

Well, got the Dobeck controller and LRD exhaust installed (sorry, haven't snapped any pics). All I can say is WOW! What a difference. ALmost looped it in the street. Yup, my heavy ass KQ does wheelies now I am very impressed with the fit and finish of the LRD. I love the way it sounds without the quiet core, perfect tone, etc. But damn its loud. So I put in the quiet core and it sounds like a Honda Civic on a cherry bomb now So loud it is for now until I get tired of it.

Keith,
The Japanese ATV have a weight limit of (I think) 604 lbs..or somewhere around there. Therefore..in order to have the power...they have to cut the weight somewhere....
