Water Ride near Cleator AZ

Postby azquadrider » Mon Mar 08, 2010 3:19 pm

We have one of the wettest years on record so far this year so we have been riding in some extremely wet conditions for desert riding. I always love going out in the rain but it can get quite cold as it was this day.
There were six of us total to brave the elements. The riders were Jeff (azgolfer), Jim (montanajim) Zane (zzz), Katt (XDC), Larry (walker) and me (don, azquadrider).
If you care to look at the photos and read the rest of the story follow the link.

We ride the mountains in the summer and the deserts in the winter.

I rode in that area a couple of years ago with my brothers we rode out of Black Canyon city a friend has a house there and we rode from it went to an old mine and then to Crown King for Lunch and gas, did a couple of goecaches, and on the way back had a beer in Cleator what an awesome area to ride. also rode around Lake Pleasant area for a couple days another good area. I came from Phoenix and love the desert. I wish to return and ride it again :D

I've been told I joke around too much.
So one day I tried being serious.
Everybody laughed!

Beautiful area...
