Yeah, and although I don't want to wish anyone harm... don't you wish he'd have done the full-on reverse superman followed by a back-splash right into the middle of that hole?EigerMike wrote:nice ice busting action! nice fall off action!!

Where is this Pierce OHV trail, looks beautiful!
Re: Pierce OHV Trail - Fordyce
It is right before the start of the Fordyce Trail. And it's fun.
I80. Exit at Eagle Lakes Road. Go under the freeway....follow...just at Indian Springs Campground....turn RIGHT....it's dirt. 100 yards later...bathroom and staging area.

Re: Pierce OHV Trail - Fordyce
According to the government website, it's only 2 miles long and unreachable? What does that mean? Or are they full of bupkus as usual?
Your video was awesome, but it sure looked a lot longer than 2 miles...

Re: Pierce OHV Trail - Fordyce
Way longer than 2 miles...there's quite a few off shoots....bring a GPS!! It can be confusing. You can also head toward the Fordyce...you really can go all the way to the 1st river crossing...Snow obviously permitting. Signal Peak trail starts there too....so you can go both ways. It's all day of riding....once again...Snow permitting.GusinCA wrote:According to the government website, it's only 2 miles long and unreachable? What does that mean? Eagle Lakes is at 5500...so it's not as high.
Signal Peak top is at 8000....and probably will be blocked in April at some point. Last year, we were blocked from the top in Mid-July.

Re: Pierce OHV Trail - Fordyce
Like Ken says, it might seem small but you can spend all day there and it's a fun area to ride around in. Here are a few of my videos that we shot there:GusinCA wrote:According to the government website, it's only 2 miles long and unreachable? What does that mean? Or are they full of bupkus as usual?
