How good are the Collett communicators?
Now that some of you guys have had them for a while do they live up to the hype? I saw in a post a while back, several people had problems that needed repairs. Do you still recommend them? Would you buy one again?
Did you get a club channel? I don't see it listed on their page of club channels.
I am thinking about the sno-fone or the Platinum 900. There is $40 difference in price. Is the sound quality reasonable for music? I don't expect it to be the same as high end head phones, but is it at least ok?

Nearly 3 years later...they're still the best thing I've used for communicating. The range isn't massive....but usually not required.
They have a 3 year warranty. I've sent one in for repairs...so did Dusty. All free. No questions asked.

Yep. Just tell them you're with ATVOBSESSION, and you'll get 2 channels.
Frankly, I've never heard anyone else on their public channel...but I guess you never know.
