$100 to blow - which JetBoil to get from Cabelas?
They don't seem to have a very extensive collection over there - wondering what you guys would get if (for example) you had a $100 gift certificate.
Would you get a knock-off?
Just lookin for thoughts/suggestions here.
As usual, thanks a ton in advance.

Can you get the basic jet boil there? You could always get the basic, and then get the accessories elsewhere. But at least the majority of the cost would be done.
I have the jet boil, and pot and the coffee press. Knock off? Haven't seen one....but the real jet boil is amazing.

I have the MSR pocket rocket myself and it works great, and very inexpensive ($40.00 or so). This stove will boil 16oz of water in about 2 minutes, which works great for my dehydrated food bags.I also carry the back pack lantern that runs off the same fuel.
I ride an 07 eiger 400,mit-tec front hard box,26 12x12 itps,2500 warn,kc lights,40 channel cb,garmin gps w/topos,6 gear bags, rear seat or dog kennel, rifle scabbard, pistol holster, and the list goes on...................

I've got a Brunton AF. Haven't tried it out yet, but it burns all fuels including gasoline. I've been using a super-tiny stove that fits inside my cooking kit and uses a butane/propane cylinder like the JetBoils.DAVE wrote:I like to be able to use gasoline, it makes it simple.....

Mr. Bill and Ken have the jet boils. We ran out of water on the Rubicon and had to boil and boil and it was so fast we were amazed. And only 2 minutes for a piping hot fresh cup of coffee... YEAH!
