Yup, Frye's Electronics and my bank do it right: one line for everybody. Most other stores do it wrong.

That's also why the singles line is the way to go on crowded ski days. If there are four normal lines and a singles line, the people in the normal lines only move up on on out of every four chairs. Over in the single line, the rate is much faster as there is usually at least one free seat on each chair and sometimes two. Even if the singles line is twice as long, you still get up the hill faster.

My solution: e-Commerce, midweek ski pass (no lines at all) and convince the wife that you suck at grocery shopping so that she chooses to go stand in those lines instead of you. :D

I love Fry's....they do it right. I noticed that Best Buy has in the not too distant past...changed too.


Then of course...the single line...forces you to run the "Gauntlet" of goodies.
The last words spoken before a YouTube video is filmed: "Hold my beer, now watch this..."
