3rd Annual Mr. Miyagi Memorial Announcement - Sept 12-14
Will....Here it is....WELL in advance. The dates for the 3rd Annual Mr. Miyagi Memorial will be September 12, 13, and 14.
EVERYONE from any location is well come. The road is dirt, and slow going...but trailers are not a problem. Even if you don't ride....come to hang out.
Location: Meadow Lake
Directions:
From HWY 80
North on Hwy 89
(Toward Sierraville) (RESET odometer at exit)
14.8 miles Turn Left at Jackson Meadows
(Sign before turn says Weber Lake, Independence Lake and Jackson Meadows)
Go EXACTLY 9.7 miles (just past Weber Lake) turn left toward Meadow lake.
(There is no sign for Meadow lake...just a sign about fees at the lake, message board and blue 301 Forest Service Sign.)
It's 11.1 Miles to Meadow Lake.
(The road turns to dirt in about 100 yards.)
From Sierraville on 89
Turn left at Jackson Meadows and repeat above.

No "pending delivery" this year - I'm in. Already have the time off.
Will have to make a trip back up the mountain for firewood this year.

Cool, more beer for me! Them dang 4x4 quads are over-rated anyways.
One week later, like the announcement says, a bunch of people are there. Go figure!

Testing the waters...
A friend of my wifes would like to know if there is anyone who would be willing to "rent" her a quad for the weekend for the Miyagi trip.
She is considering purchasing one and would like to give it a go after seeing the photos of our trips. I told her this one would be a perfect outing with the trail system up there.
Sooo.. if anyone has a spare for the weekend. Please PM me with any questions or info you might have.

Plan on being there with my 22 year old son. Be tent camping, so if anyone has any words of wisdom about this place, I don't get offended. Know I need to haul in some water. Are there enough picnic tables? And how much gas per machine do you normally go through? Don't know how hard you push it. Plus any "must have" stuff I wouldn't think of. Look forward to hanging out with you guys, and puttin on some miles.
